Ian and Carla Gennari were married in December of 1999 and both of them knew that they were called to missions. Little did they know that it would be fifteen years until they would finally go into the mission field… One year before we left for Africa it all began with us praying a prayer at different times in two different locations. “BREAK MY HEART FOR WHAT BREAKS YOURS LORD!” When we both realized in 2014 we had been calling out for this we also knew it was time to be sent! 2014 would be a year of prayer for our 3 boys as well to decide if Jesus was calling them to Mozambique. They prayed and listened at the tender ages of 4, 7, and 10. In February of 2015, we were all called and chosen to the African nation of Mozambique. We are called to make disciple makers, and to love God through loving our neighbors… The specific call for us is encompassed in Isaiah 58:6- 13 “Is not this the fast that I choose; to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Then shall your light break forth like the dawn and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard. Then you shall call and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘here I AM’…. And your ancient ruins shall be rebuilt; you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; you shall be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in.”

Sam & Brenda Nisly are mobilizers living in Redding, California. The Nislys provide support for a small African YWAM base located in northwestern Mozambique. Ian & Carla Gennari (Compelled Ones) are on the ground, making a BIG difference in this rural community--but pioneers need a life line--and that's what Sam & Brenda do. Sam & Brenda have done two week in person visits the last three summers and hope to go again in 2026. Their interest and moral support is a much needed commodity in this survival community. Sam is also active as secretary on Gennari family's non profit board. Ian Gennari is guiding a run away revival among the Yao People group. Their housekeeper and maintenance man became believers and then the 2, 4, 8, 16 multiplication factor kicked in. There are now 5th generation groups out in distant villages and no one knows the total number of believers. At the same time, Nurse Carla Gennari has be reaching out to the most vulnerable segment of the population thru palliative care. She provides much needed emotional and medical support in this survival community. Carla's ground breaking palliative care approach in rural Niassa province has reached national attention in a very positive way. Ian's Discipleship approach and Carla's palliative care approach are similar in that both are empowering, sustainable and locally driven. There are limits to what a person can do themselves. Ian and Carla have chosen to teach and empower the nationals and the results have been astonding. Compelled Ones (compelledones.org) is a small nonprofit doing the David & Goliath procedure--they've taken on battles that are way to big for them--and Goliath is coming down kersplat. But... Ian & Carla need financial, emotional and moral support. Sam & Brenda Nisly provide member care in ways that help make the effort sustainable.

Our vision is to bring healing and hope to the people in Micronesia. Due to various circumstances, many of these people have little to no hope in their lives, and we want to share the Good News of Jesus with them, so they can also know the HOPE we have in Christ. The suicide rate is highest among those in their early 20s! They truly need to hear the wonderful, life-giving news that was graciously shared with us. Patti wants to use her medical knowledge and I want to serve the people so that their hearts will be open to the message, and so that churches can be planted and the Word can be preached. We will be working in the areas of medical care and health education, and in community development, such as clean water solutions focused on planting new churches, volleyball clinics, or any other way that can enrich the community. Eventually, we would like to be able to expand the Church by building medical clinics in places there are none currently. Patti has long had a vision to deliver babies in remote areas. Our plan is to go as soon as we have 100% funding and required training completed. We have served our initial 2 year term focused on learning language, culture and our new ministry context, and are now beginning our itineration phase to go back to Micronesia as Career Missionaries for 3 years in that first term, and then likely 4 year terms after this next term, now that Dave has been Licensed with the Oklahoma Assemblies of God.

We are the McKisic family, missionaries in rural Japan. In an unreached nation with 99% who don’t yet know Jesus as King and worship Him, it is our mission: to know Jesus, be known by Him, and make Him known. John Piper says, “Missions exist because worship doesn’t.” We will follow the call to the unreached places till we see a nation come to worship their creator. We will do this by living lives of generosity, hospitality and invitation. We are committed to cultivating unity in the Spirit and believe that the love within the Body of Christ will be a powerful testimony that draws others to believe in and become obedient followers and pursuers of Jesus. Since 2017, I've served in suburban Tokyo, Japan as an English conversation teacher at a local Japanese churches and worked with Chi Alpha Japan campus ministry. Besides providing some secondary income for the local churches, I connect with college students, families, and build relationships with the local community. These relationships are the gateways for preaching the gospel and helping students know the love, forgiveness, and salvation of Jesus Christ! --- About Me --- My love of different cultures and languages led me to pursue a degree and career in International Business and Marketing. However, God had different plans for my life. Towards the end of my studies in 2012, I joined a small company owned by a local pastors’ wife and began tutoring international students and their families in English. As an ESL tutor, I began developing relationships with Japanese mothers and their children. Though I had previously been interested in Japanese music and animation, God began to stir my heart on a deeper level for the Japanese people through these relationships. While business grew each year and I had the chance to make many wonderful friends, I knew there was something more. After having the opportunity to connect with a missionary on the field, In 2017 I made the decision to answer the call to missions in Japan. Since then I've been partnering with local Japanese churches, building relationships, doing outreaches, and serving Japanese families and the youth.

Hello! My name is Amy Alexander! I serve and spread the gospel in Italy, where I truly believe that God wants to revive the gospel and build up a house for His Spirit and revelation again; to build up a nation of His lovers who glorify Him through their passion, boldness, creativity, brilliance, and love for one another. Italy is a deep well of His Spirit that God is unburrying. With a ministry called Into the Wilderness, I mentor and minister to Italians through outdoor adventures, such as rock climbing, skiing and snowboarding, backpacking, canyoning, and more. As one who sees, knows, and understands the Creator deeply through the observation and exploration of the great outdoors, this form of ministry not only speaks to me deeply, but I believe is a brilliant way God is ministering to the Italian people to revive the gospel; to transform hearts, break bondages of fear, and reveal His heart for each individual. God is found in creation. He intended that we would seek Him and find Him through what He made. With Into the Wilderness, I have the honor of leading outdoor excursions, where students are able to do exactly that. As we are removed from daily distractions, noise, and comforts, we are able to seek the Lord and hear Him, learn experientially, conquer fears, and experience the transformation of the Holy Spirit.
